This week has been challenging. It’s been a struggle to get through the days and nights of heat. We cancelled a theatre trip we were looking forward to and the school visit I was doing today has been rescheduled.
On the upside, being confined to the house with all the curtains drawn has given me the chance to write every day. I’m lucky that the room where I do my writing is relatively cool.
How’s your week been?

They say every cloud has a silver lining but in your case it’s the sunshine. My week was the opposite, outside everyday building a new fence and gate 🙂

We’re lucky our mobile home is beneath a large sycamore tree. It’s the only time I don’t curse it 🤣. We still have windows shut, curtains drawn and a large fan going. Currently sweating buckets and we’re up North. So glad I’m not South at the moment. Not very good for the old concentration😑.

Here in Kent the heat this week has been unbearable. It’s so hard to concentrate on doing anything. The cats are suffering, as I’m sure yours are too, Liz.
About 22 degrees is high enough for me. Unfortunately, I’m working outdoors over the weekend – I’m praying for rain!

Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 for rain for you! I bought a cool mat for the cats today so hope it helps.

Ditto re the heat plus a renewed conviction to get a quote for air con ! Why do I forget to do this as soon as the temp cools down ?🙄🤷♀️
