I admit that I find it really hard to push myself ‘out there’ in terms of promoting my children’s book. I’m feeling really pleased with myself that I have not one but two bookings at local libraries in the summer. I’ll be reading from my book and getting the children who come along to do some drawing and writing. It feels like a massive achievement.
What are you feeling pleased about this week? I’d love to hear from you.

You should be so proud of yourself, Liz. It’s a massive achievement and you have inspired me to get mine finished and published. As far as this week goes, I’ve written lots of stuff for my blog. But most importantly, I’ve purchased a copy of your book. It’s fantastic that you’ll be reading from the book in libraries, well done.😍

Well done, Liz. That is a fabulous achievement! It’s been a quiet week for me, nothing in your league😂 But I did manage my first long bike ride of the year.

Well done Liz! Your journey has made me consider how I will tackle marketing if I’m to get a book published. It feels a bit out of my comfort zone. This week though I’ve pushed myself out of that zone and joined a Samba drumming band which was fantastic I must say. I think none of us know what we’re capable of until we give ourselves that push and see. I’m sure you’ll be great. I’m thoroughly enjoying reading The Clocker and can tell you have a very natural affinity with children. They’ll love you 🥰 Just do it!
